Arguably the best package manager around:
What is this Python project?
Package Management for the entire operating system. Extremely feature-rich, handles both Python and non-Python dependencies, library linking, build system options, live software distribution, dependency conditionality (and/or/older/newer/explicit version), version slotting (multiple versions in parallel), and much more.
What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?
In contrast to pip it can manage the entire dependency graph of an operating system. In contrast to other package managers it is fully implemented in Python and designed for rolling-release, source-based installs, and full freedom of choice for the user.
