Focus highlight on input-group-button

Buttons are highlighted when focused when part of an input group but not when stand-alone (examples with the drop-downs but the same issue arises with normal buttons):

I presume not having them highlighted is the better option?

This is on Windows Vista, Chrome 28.0.1500.72 m
