v5: Revisit `max-width` on grid classes

From #28264:

Removes the max-width from grid classes, though this may need to be revisited because comments indicate it applies to Firefox, too.

This change was reverted by @XhmikosR before he merged the PR into the no-jQuery branch, so I need to revisit to see if it's still true.
