3.2.0 Modal Flickers on Dismiss w/ Fade Animation on iOS 7

I've read up on the various flavours of #9855 (closed) but it seems 3.2.0 messed up the basic close behaviour.

You can see this on the latest iOS Safari on the live demo even at getbootstrap.com/javascript.

Open works fine but the close causes the modal to flash.
