Carousel not automatically sliding

I am working on migrating from v2.3.2 to v3 and was having trouble with my carousel now not automatically sliding upon page load. So, thinking missed some (which is still very likely) I was viewing the carousel example on the getbootstrap.com site, after trying the example file from the download, and I found that the example file does not automatically start, either. I have tried it in Google Chrome and FireFox, both with the same results.
