Future of Solaar?

I will be writing a DBus daemon to interface with Logitech devices (HID++ 1.0, HID++ 2.0, bootloader, etc.). This daemon will be written from scratch with a test suite from day 0 (using https://github.com/libratbag/ratbag-emu).

With this in mind, we should re-think the position of Solaar.

I propose that we drop all backend logic and just make Solaar a front-end for this new daemon.

Thoughts?
