Refreshing About-Menu with Buttons
Created by: SecUpwN
Hi everyone! This is something I have planned to do for a long time, yet never had the chance to digg deep enough into it: I would like to refresh the About-Menu from #17 (closed). This is how:
- The very first line with the version numbering shall be kept
- The line
Detect and avoid IMSI-Catcher attacks
shall stay (or be extended) - Below that, a button across both sides of the App with the Status Icons shown in small and a very short description of each Icon beneath it. Once this button is pressed, it shall take the user to the mentioned link with the full description in the WIKI.
- Then, below those Status Icons, I'd like to have a large button across both sides of the App saying
Full Documentation
which when pressed takes the user to the entry page of our WIKI - The rest (8 buttons) should have the same look and structure as the ones of HushSMS
To sum it up, here is the raw version of it:
Android IMSI-Catcher Detector 0.1.24-alpha-build-XX Detect and avoid IMSI-Catcher attacks! [Status Icons as clickable button] [Full Documentation] #(Button across page) [This App is a PoC] [DISCLAIMER] [GitHub] #Add good GitHub logo [XDA] #Add XDA logo [WIP-Releases] [Changelog] [License] [CREDITS]
If there is still room left, we may add another button [Contact]. Overall, I want the About-Menu to look much more professional and clean unified style, uncluttered and clear to the user. The current About-Menu with the link on each line seems too cramped to me. Visually unappealing. Open for suggestions, @E3V3A, @tobykurien and @He3556. Again, this Issue does not have priority at all. Take it as a side-project.
